My Big Weight Loss Secret

Many people think that I have fast metabolism and other people think that I spend hours in the gym to lose weight and stay in shape. But that is further from the truth. So here I am going to reveal my secret for weight loss and always stay in shape and lose those extra pounds.


Let’s start with my fitness diet…


Everyday, as soon as I wake up at 4:30 am, I go to the kitchen and start my oatmeal. I slowly cook it while I am getting ready to start my day. Then, when it is ready I add raisins, a banana and sometimes honey. I eat it as I am driving to my destination. I know in a couple of hours I will be hungry, so I pampered myself with a couple of fruits. Then I come home and eat lunch around 12 pm. Then after I eat another fruit around 4 pm. The last meal I eat is my dinner around 8:30 pm.

I usually eat at home. My wife or I cook food from scratch with a lot of veggies. I make sure most of my meals are at home unless I have an emergency or special occasion. I only drink water and I avoid fast food, processed food and I only drink water.


This is a routine that I have been following for years now and has worked since I started.


Now let's talk about my exercise routine for a toned body…

I exercise 5 days a week. My exercise is at the gym and I make sure I go all in when I do it. It does not matter how my day was or how I feel. I exercise and do my best. I make sure I do as good as the day before and even better. It is all mental. So I make sure I defeat my negative side and don’t give in. I know if I give in once, it is easy to give in twice.


Another thing I do is hike or walk everyday. I do it for my mental health and my dogs, but it does contribute to my fitness level. So this is also a routine. I do it no matter what unless the weather doesn't allow me to get out.


If you notice this is a good routine to lose weight and be fit…

But this should be a lifestyle not a practice that you are planning to acquire only for a short period of time. It should be for life. I have been following this routine now for 22 years. I am 41 and I am in better shape than when I was 19 years of age. If you follow this routine for a short period of time, it will work only for a short period of time. As soon as you drop it, you will go back to where you used to be.

If you are going to follow this advice, do it for yourself. Don’t do it to please other people. You need to find yourself and really know what you want. If you are trying to please others, you are going to drop this routine because it is not an easy change and your reason is not strong enough to motivate you to do the hard work. However, if you are doing it because of you, then you are going to be strong enough to take the challenge and make it happen. Think about it, when do you really enjoy doing something? When someone else is tell you to do it or when is your idea?


Take your time and mediate and make sure this is what you want. Then start following a healthy diet that fits your everyday life. Find an exercise routine that works for you, do it no matter what and go all in. Go out there in nature and enjoy a walk, hike, bike ride or anything that helps your mind. Make it part of your life and do it for yourself.
