Keep Your Brain Healthy...
I like to strengthen my body for many reasons, to be able to be independent in life and lift heavy things, to help others when the occasion happens, to look attractive, to stay young, to lose weight, to be healthy.
But I also like to strengthen muscles that many people can’t see…
The brain is the computer that runs the whole body and our lives. The brain is one of the most important or I can even say the most important organs in our body.

Our brain is in charge to keep our body in homeostasis and to send the right signals to all the organs to keep us alive. The brain sends signals to all the movements we want to make in our body and to be aware of our surroundings.
But not only that, to be able to survive, overcome and progress in this life our needs to be strong. People who are mentally weak are the people who suffer the most and don’t accomplish their goals and dreams in life.
Therefore, besides taking care of our brain for it to optimally function, we need to strengthen it to be able to live a better and more fulfilling life. When you strengthen your brain, you can withstand more pain and more tragedies, make better important decisions, focus more, understand yourself and others more, and be a better leader.

Here are 9 habits you can create to strengthen your brain and enhance your life…
Exercise to the point you are in discomfort…
For you to be able to run long distances or lift heavy weights, you must be able to control your thoughts. What you tell yourself when you are in discomfort is important for you to be able to complete the task. The more you fight the weak side of you by motivating yourself when you are hurting, the stronger that positive voice becomes.
Meditate focusing on one thing at a time…

There are many ways of meditation and I bet all of them strengthen your brain. But if you are a beginner, I recommend that you meditate by focusing on one thing at a time. For example, you can focus on overcoming a task such as speaking in front of thousands of people. By not thinking about the things that you need to get done or keeping your mind wondering you already have control of your brain.
Learn something new…
We are lazy from nature, so we need to get out of our comfort zone and one way to do it is to put the brain to work in new skills. Find something new you can do such as playing an instrument, learn to write, learn public speaking, learn to build a house. There are many things you can learn.
Teach what you know…
What I can tell you is that the best way for me to learn something is by teaching others. Unless I am confident that what I am teaching is clear and people understand and I am teaching the right information loud and clear, I won’t teach. So that puts me in a situation where I need to do research and practice. Plus, when I am teaching I find mistakes I make, things I can improve and things that I still need to learn. Teaching others challenges your brain to become fit.
Care about others…
When you empathize with others, you are forcing yourself to do your best to feel what the other person is feeling. You imagine it, you are comparing the event with some of your past events, you are looking for solutions for the other person and looking for words to make the other person feel better. Your brain is working and becoming stronger when you do that.
Cold showers…

Like I mentioned before, we don’t like discomfort. The more discomfort your body is, the stronger your mind becomes. When you take cold showers or use a cold plonge you are making your brain control your thoughts to stay under cold water. There is nothing better than controlling your breathing when you are in discomfort and your brain does that.
Give yourself time to plan and set goals…
Once again, thinking and making your brain imagine is making your brain work and become stronger, so give yourself time every morning to plan your day and every weekend to set new goals.
Improve your diet…
Your food affects your whole body. Therefore, you must be careful with the foods (or chemicals) that go to your brain. Get rid of any toxicity- sodas, alcohol, any other drugs, sugar, medication (talk to a good doctor who is not brainwashed by pharma), processed foods, fluoride, chlorine and anything you can think of is toxic.
Read…
Reading is my favorite one. Reading needs concentration, imagination, focus and it uses your cognitive ability for you to make conclusions and learn. Reading at least 20 minutes everyday will strengthen your brain. keep your brain healthy and see your life better.
