Weight Loss Case Study: I Thought I Could Not Transform My Body At This Age

No to long ago I interviewed one of our members who has transformed her body in only 6 months. Her name is Verenice. She is over 40 years of age and she thought she could not transform her body after two girls she had. 

Verenice thought it was impossible to rejuvenice her body…


Verenice started to exercise because she wants to set an example for her daughters. Also, Verenice noticed that she did not have the energy to play with her daughters and she was always tired mentally and physically. She told me that she needed to get out of the routine and try something new. 


Verenice needed to get out of her comfort zone…

The habits that Verenice needed to change were obvious to her after the first assessment. She needed to start exercising. Now she has the habit of coming to lift weights 4 to 5 times a week, nor missing a day. Exercise has impacted her life in a positive way that she can’t miss a day. 


Verenice stopped eating out, eating junk food, stopped drinking soda and other added sugar drinks and she added fruits and vegetables in her diet. 


Verenice knows that discipline is the key to get results and she started to love her new life…


Everyday is important because it counts towards her goal and health. Verenice knows that many times coming to exercise is difficult, but she stays motivated by saying that she is not going to die exercising. Every time the routine gets difficult she reminds herself that she will only become stronger and she is not going to die by exercising even though sometimes that is how she feels when she is doing it.

Verenice keeps in her mind how she wants to feel and be later in her life. She knows that if she does not start or continues with her changes, she will never make the change. 



But the feeling Verenice feels when she finishes with her routine is priceless…


Now Verenice is enjoying a healthier and more active life. Besides having the energy to play with her daughters, she can’t stop doing things. After she finishes her exercise in the afternoon, she gets home and starts cleaning the house, cooking and giving time to her family without feeling tired like before. Also, Verenice lives on the third floor of a complex where before it was difficult to climb the stairs alone. Now she can easily take groceries and anything she needs to bring to her apartment by taking the stairs.


Verenice is looking into her far future and she does not want to depend on people to do her physical stuff. She wants to be completely independent and  self-sufficient.

There are many reasons why you should change your life and become healthier just like Verenice. It is your choice and know that it is possible for you to change your body and have a more fulfilling life.
