Weekends Are Important When It Comes to Your Body Transformation Goals

I have been training people since 2010 and I find patterns that can tell some truth about peoples results. 

We have some members who are constant with their exercise and healthy eating. Well, at least they do during the week because when the weekend comes, they eat anything they come across without thinking about the consequences affecting their body transformation results.

When I assess these members, they usually don’t lose weight but they also don’t gain weight. Their results are consistent until they decide to change the behavior of eating anything over the weekend.


Let me elaborate a little more. Members who are consistent with their healthy eating and exercise lose weight in the week. However, they overeat or eat the wrong foods over the weekend and they gain back the weight they lose during the week. 


So weekends do also count when your goal is to tone your body.


If you are planning to lose weight and toning your body, it is very important that you don’t take your weekends lightly.

Many people like to go to parties over the weekend.

 

They like drinking as well and they don’t pay attention to their alcohol consumption. Also once they have drunk a couple of drinks, they also don’t pay attention to the food they snack since they are under the influence. 


These calories do add up to your weight gain. You may think that drinking hard liquor and not adding sugary drinks to your alcohol will help, but keep in mind that you can still get a high percentage of empty calories from hard liquor. No matter what, alcohol is full of empty calories. 


Tip: Plan your parties in advance and have someone who can look up to you, limit your parties, don’t drink in parties, don’t eat processed and full of sugar foods, keep making healthy decisions in the party as you do over the week.

Some people like to go out camping, traveling, visiting family members or just simply get out of the routine over the weekend. But they don’t plan their eating and they visit fast food restaurants or they eat processed foods because they are convenience. 


They don’t pay attention to all the calories they eat by eating these products. Plus the side effects of these products are devastating for their health.


Tip: Don’t stop and eat at any restaurant. Make a research and find the healthiest restaurant you can find in the area you are in. Don’t ever visit a fast food restaurant unless you know it is organic. Pack your food from home or buy foods in the supermarket that are fresh and whole such as fruits, vegetables, kefir yogurt, and nuts. 

If you are a person who enjoys your weekends, don’t stop enjoying them. But keep in mind that if you don’t pay attention to what goes through your mouth, you drastically affect all the effort you have been putting in over the week. Just be a little more conscious about the decisions you are making when it is about your food and drinking and you will get better weight loss results.
