Many people take the action of losing weight as an event instead of a process. They think surgery, a pill, a short term program, ozempic, or any other magic trick will help them lose weight.
The truth is that nothing of these really helps with weight loss. These are only short term results because the only way to lose weight forever is by changing your lifestyle and this is the reason why all people who use the easy ways for weight loss always regain the weight back.
So for you to lose weight long term, you must change your lifestyle. Here are the things you should practice in your new lifestyle to lose weight.

The first thing is to change your eating habits.
The biggest contributor for your weight loss will be what you eat and what you stop eating. Learn about the products that will make you gain weight and stop eating those. Then learn about the best foods you should be eating to optimally lose weight. There are foods that help you lose weight faster than others. Make these healthy whole foods your priority and you will start losing weight.
The second thing to keep in mind to lose weight is to cleanse your body.

There are so many pollutants in the air, products that you use and foods that you eat that affect the liver, kidney, colon. Doing a cleanse will help reset these organs and help them work better. This also can help you lose weight.
The third thing is exercising.
There are two types of exercising that many people refer to when it is about weight loss- weight lifting and cardiovascular training.
Weight lifting will increase your muscle tissue. Therefore, you will need more calories to keep this tissue alive. This will increase your metabolism and will make your body more attractive. However, it is not a need for weight loss.

Do you need to do cardio to lose weight?
Cardiovascular training is an exercise that will make your cardiovascular system fit and this will help you lose a lot of fat. No, if you only start eating healthy, you will lose weight.
But your weight loss will take longer. Nevertheless, if you change your lifestyle and you are in no rush, I don’t see an issue. But keep in mind that losing weight does not mean that your body will be in shape or look toned.

If you are only concerned about losing weight, then, you don’t need to do cardio or any other exercise. However, if you want to be fit, toned or even more healthier than just losing weight, you want to include weight lifting and cardiovascular training.
