Be Ready for the Opportunity and Take Advantage of It

Opportunities are around in our lives. But many times we can’t take advantage of them because we are not prepared or ready for them.
Back in the past I thought an opportunity was to win the lottery or find a subcase full of large bills.
Also, I thought that I would be the best partner (husband) because the opportunity will show. My faulty thinking thought the opportunities happen to some chosen people and I was hoping I was one of those chosen people. I wanted a lucky shot.
But I was completely wrong. Opportunities happen to everyone and only those who are prepared are the ones who can take a vantage of the opportunities. Let me explain further.
Since I was focused on winning the lottery or finding a subcase with money, I never spotted real opportunities that will improve the quality of my life. But after I learned that I needed to be prepared for opportunities, many opportunities have shown in my life and I took advantage of them.
For example, I saved enough money for a commercial building when people were not buying because they had no money. Then I could buy a couple of apartments when someone was in a rush to sell. I could have missed these opportunities if I was not prepared with savings. Now I am prepared for another opportunity.
I learned that people who have money saved have the ability to make investments when others don’t because they don’t have the money to invest...
So for you to take advantage of investment opportunities you have to be prepared with money.
No to long ago I watched a video where an overweight lady let go of the stroller with her baby in it. The stroller started going down hill where a busy avenue was. The lady tried to rush, but her pathetic and clumsy attempt just made her tripped and she fell. The baby got saved by a man who ran as fast as he could before the stroller got to the avenue.
This is another way to be prepared…
The opportunity to save someone's life took it to this guy who was in shape. On the other hand, the woman had no opportunity to save her own baby.
I am prepared to run, jump, grab, defend myself, and help others because I am in shape. If someone needs help in the airport, streets or any other situation, I take advantage of the opportunity because I can.
I heard many stories where couples don’t trust each other to let the oher travel alone. Also, I heard stories where people can’t leave their business running without their supervision. I can understand why. They are not prepared for the opportunity.
Not too often I need to travel alone out of the country. When I need to, my wife has no objections to let me go and I can also leave Custom Body Fitness and other businesses running without me and this is possible because I am prepared if the opportunity shows.
These past two years I have been thinking about when I need to leave this life...
I know I won’t live forever and I also know that this life is not the end and there is a Superior Power who I need to be accounted for. I am doing my best to prepare myself when that day comes, so I don’t have excuses and I have results instead. You know I want to be in a better place in eternity. I don’t want to mess that one up.
I want you to think about what it is that you want in life and what are your dreams because many opportunities will show during your life...
Don’t waste your time doing nothing because if you do, you won’t be able to take advantage of the opportunities. Prepare yourself. Do you want to be a professional, a doctor, a lawyer, the president or anything like it? Prepare yourself and be the best of everyone else and that way you will have your destiny fulfilled because the opportunity will be there for you and you will be ready to take advantage of it.
