Are You Transforming Your Body For You or To Please Others?

People start exercising for many reasons, but the most common one is to gain self confidence…
To not make this article short, I am going to go straight to the point. When I assess many of our members who are transforming their bodies, they say many of their friends and relatives judge them no matter what. When they were overweight, they told them they needed to lose weight and now they have lost weight, they told them they need to gain weight.
Even though our members are looking great, there are going to be people who are jealous of their progress…

I bet if you are doing the same and transforming your body, you have a couple of people who are committed to make you feel down and find words that will get you. So one thing you need to understand, if you are getting similar attacks like our members, no matter what you do, you are not going to please everyone around you.
When you start exercising, you start with a strong motive (I hope this motive was not to make someone else happy). That motive got you fired up to go through the pain of changing. Now you have achieved many of your goals and there are people who want you to stop. Don’t let them.
Remember the real reason why you started to exercise was for your health, or to fit into your clothes or to have the energy to live your life or to just feel confident.

Your confidence does not come from what other people have to say about you…
Confidence doesn't come from the acceptance of people who are jealous of your progress and what they have to say. Your confidence comes from all the challenges you have overcome. It comes from the fact that you are disciplined to get the results you are getting. It comes from doing what others are not willing to do to get the results. It comes from the decision you made to change your life and your body.

Your goal is not to please other people. Yes, you need to be accepted and you need to know that you are doing things right and that everything that you are doing is actually attractive to others, but don’t listen to the people who are jealous of your results.
Real friends and people who are in the same path as you are your real critics...
People who are not jealous of you becoming better are those who are going to tell you the truth. However, the real feedback is, how are you feeling? Are you feeling happy with the results? Do you feel better than before? Is the goal you have achieved what you were looking for? Is your clothes fitting better? Do you have more energy? Are you stronger? Are you happy with yourself? If the answers are yes for these questions, then who cares about what the rest will say. What really matters is how you are feeling.
