Elida has been with us for 16 months and has managed successfully to lose 53 pounds. She is still motivated to get to her goal of having a 25 body percent. For many people losing 53 pounds is not easy and for others keeping those 53 pounds off is even harder.
Elida has completely changed her life to be able to lose 53 pounds.
I am amazed by the disciplined Elidas has shown over these months. However, I am also curious about everything she has changed in her life to be able to lose those 53 pounds and I want to share her journey with you, so you get motivated and also reach your desired fitness goal.

When Elida was younger, her family never exercised and neither did not know much about eating habits. Staying healthy was not a priority for her family. So Elida needed to start healthy habits from the bottom as an adult.
Elida was diagnosed with cancer and a brain tumor.
The doctor told her that if she did not take care of herself, she would die young. That motivated Elida to start doing something.
She started to eat healthier by cutting calories and eating less, but she did not know more than that. But that was a good beginning. Also she joined the recreation center to start exercising. All she was doing was using cardio machines and moving.

Her results were minimal, but that was a good beginning.
Finally she got stock in her weight loss and she concluded that she needed to hire someone to tell her what to do to get better results and that is when she ended up at Custom Body Fitness.
So now Elida had a schedule, camaraderie at Custom Body Fitness. But what really matters is that she learned what weight lifting is and how challenging it is compared to just showing up to the gym to move. Not only did Elida start to lose more weight, but she became stronger and proud of being able to lift heavy weights.
Elida also learned how important vegetables are for weight loss and she started following an eating schedule as well to stop snacking when stressed. She stopped eating processed foods and she stopped drinking sodas.
Nevertheless, what really matters is that Elida learned that losing weight and being fit is a lifestyle.

She has changed her mindset and now she enjoys her workouts and eating healthy even though it was hard in the beginning.
In conclusion, to lose 53 pounds, you need to be motivated by something that really matters to you, in Elida’s case her health and losing her life was her motivation to change her life. You need to start with imperfect actions and course correct as you continue. To get real results make your workout challenging and progress in your program instead of just moving in the gym.

Start by changing some small basic eating habits and then learn what else you can do to get better results. Lastly, remember that this is a lifestyle not an event and you need to change your mindset to start enjoying your new life.
Elida lost 53 pounds and she continues aiming higher due to her motivation of losing her life.
If you are not motivated enough to change your life, it would be impossible for you to lose weight and keep off forever. Find a real motivation that wakes up your burning desire to change and from there just make the changes. If Elida can do it, so can you. Diagnosed With Cancer
