You may be wondering if you are eating the correct foods to lose weight. Many people are confused about what they should eat because there are so many diets and recommendations from professionals about weight loss. It comes to the point that it seems complicated to change your diet when you are trying to follow all these recommendations online.

But weight loss does not need to be difficult.
Here I am going to give you some tips, so you can start losing weight and start seeing the scale going down this month. These tips are basic and easy to follow and they will make sense to you, so you don’t follow another tip that does not make sense.
Get rid of processed foods.
No matter what diet you decide to follow or if you only want to change your eating habits, start by getting rid of all the processed foods. They're easy to spot. Everything that comes in a package that is ready to be eaten and it has chemicals in the ingredients list. Examples are instant soups, frozen foods ready to eat, chips, canned foods, breads, candies, and anything of that style.
Keep in mind that you may find some package foods that can be good to eat. For example, potato chips that claim in their ingredients that are only potatoes, olive or avocado oil and sea salt. If you noticed these ingredients are whole and real, there are no chemicals or any weird things that you don’t know what they are. If you can find anything that is packaged as simple as these ingredients, whole and without chemicals, then you may be able to eat and not gain weight.

Don’t drink your calories.
It’s not only about the things you eat, but also about the things you drink. Most people are overweight because they drink their calories. Sodas, energy drinks and most canned juices are empty calories with harmful ingredients that make you gain weight. So I recommend you don’t drink anything else other than water, black coffee and teas without sugar or anything else. You may use honey as a sweater. Trust me in this one. You will lose tons of fat when you stop drinking sodas, energy drinks and canned juices.
Eat only whole foods.
Okay, now we are left with the only thing that will help you lose weight, which are whole foods. Veggies, fruits, grains, meats and dairies are whole foods. If you cut all the processed foods and sugary drinks, you have done the biggest part and you should start losing weight now. However, you need the best nutrients to improve your health and weight loss.

Here is where whole foods matter. My recommendation is that you buy the best whole foods such as organic and locally grown. What goes on the progress of growing your food matters. The less the human being intervening in raising your food the better food you will get. Hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, ammonia are some things you want to avoid. So choose your whole foods wisely.
Also as you start eating healthy you will notice what foods your body can’t digest properly even though they are whole foods. As you noticed these foods, cut them out of your diet because they won’t help with your weight loss.
Take advantage of super foods.

These will give you an extra boost with your weight loss. To get the best nutrients with the few calories, look for the super foods such as spirulina, monk fruit, moringa, avocado, salmon, grapefruit and so many others. The list is too extensive to list here, but you can search online.
You don’t have to follow a specific diet to lose weight. All diets work, but many fail to explain the fact that processed food should not be part of your diet.

Only drink water, eat the best whole foods and add super foods to your diet. That will be it for you to see the scale moving down in fast!
