5 Habits to Have a Spectacular Day

Who wants to have a spectacular day every day of his life? If you are a pessimist, you will find ways to have a horrible day. Pessimists are experts in finding the negative side of everything and they find some kind of comfort by being negative. 


On the other hand, we regular people, like you and me, who are always looking for ways of improving our days and finding ways to be happier, of course we want to have a spectacular day!



Therefore, here I am going to share with you 5 habits that you can use to have a spectacular day…


Unless you are a pessimist and you want to have the worst day of your life.

Start your day meditating…


People who meditate have more control of their mind and emotions. Plus, they can focus more than people who don’t meditate. If you are able to focus on your tasks, you will get more things accomplished and feel more efficient. Also, by controlling your mind and emotions, you will be able to make better decisions. Take at least 10 minutes of meditation in the morning before starting your day.


Be Grateful before you start your day... 


The key to be happy is to be grateful. Imagine your life with the people and things that you cannot function with being gone from your life. Now, be grateful for having those people and things around your life. Be grateful because your life is a lot better compared to other people. There is always someone in a worst situation that we are in. Being grateful will make you smile all day and will make unexpected difficulties easier.

Don’t start your day until you are done planning it… 


I learned that for me to be efficient and have a day as I wanted to turn out, I need to plan it. Think about it, what event (wedding, seminar, class, speech, presentation) would be more successful, the one that is planned or the one that is not? The same happens with your day. Conquer your day by planning it.


Get the most difficult task out of the way at the beginning of your day… 

A landscape

Exercise should be one of the first things you should do in the morning. Not only are you getting it out of the way, but you are also starting your day with some happy chemicals of accomplishment. So get your exercise scheduled at the beginning of your day.


Let go of resentment…


There is a story where two monks were walking and they found a well dressed lady who needed to cross a puddle, so one of the kind monks decided to let her jump in her back to cross the puddle. Once they crossed, the lady simply walked away. 


As the monks continued walking in her journey, one of the monks told the other, who carried the lady across the puddle, that he could not believe that the lady did not even thank him for helping her cross the puddle. The other monk replied to his friends that he sat the lady down back by the end of the puddle, you still still carrying her. 


If someone cut you off in the road, if someone call you a negative name, if someone insult you, if someone did not treated you with respect, if one did not gave you the service that he promised, if someone did something you think is was not right and you could not do something about it, let go. Set the lady down. You will have a better day letting it go than having a day full of resentment. 


Your days make your weeks, your weeks make your months, your months make your years and your years make your life.  Practice these habits and your life will improve drastically.
