Weight loss has become a multimillionaire industry. People have come with many solutions for weight loss from diets to exercise, from pills to surgeries, from pomades to massages. It seems like we can find many ways to attack the overweight problem.
But there is something that tells us that nothing of these solutions for weight loss are really working…
Many people are still overweight, and more people are getting overweight now compared to years ago.
You may be asking why many people are overweight. If you are overweight and you are looking for a solution without success, you may be wondering why you can’t lose weight.
Victoria Clark has the answer for you. Victoria was 70 pounds overweight, unhappily married, broke and emotionally broken until she discovered the reason for her tragedy.
One day, Victoria, in her desperation to cover a lot of her pain, she smoked weed and she noticed that she was not really confronting that emotional pain that she tried to repress. Victoria has been sexually abused as a child and adolecen. From then on, she gained a lot of weight unconsciously to protect herself from aggressors.
She was very active in her community and at work trying to be successful and staying busy not to confront her reality. Until one day she finally did. She noticed that she was running away from her traumas instead of confronting them.
Finally, she decided to take the pain and deal with her traumas that were making her overweight…
Now she lost the 70 pounds she was carrying, she looks beautiful and she is now helping other people.
She became a vegetarian base nutritionist, life coach, yoga instructor and holds a master in human psychology specializing in adult learning. With this knowledge, she is now helping many other women to overcome and understand trauma, so they can become successful in life.
Victoria knows that most people are overweight because of their traumas and unless they do confront such pain...
Victoria recommends going dip inside and confront the pain created from traumas, asking questions such as why am I carrying the extra weight? What happened in my past? What am I running from? Do I feel comfortable with the extra weight? Am I happy with my body and the way I feel?
So instead of attacking the problem superficially with pills, surgery, diets, fads, products, check inside for any traumas…
And make sure that you are not carrying the extra weight because of that. Nothing superficial will help you get well. You may lose the extra weight, but the trauma may be exposed in a different symptom such as bulimia, or any other mental or physical desease.
Take the advice from a person who experienced similar traumas than you and has overcome and transcend the pain and set herself free.
